Revit fundamentals for Beginners
Learn Revit with an Expert. This entry-level, 3-day course is designed for architectural professionals who are new to the 3D space or transitioning from CAD to Revit.
This is a list of the things you will learn when enrolling for the Revit Fundamentals course
Understanding Revit + Basic Modelling Tools: Revit interface, navigation & project setup
Building Information Modelling Concepts + Building Form - Build an actual project home
Schedules, 3D, and Output- Door/window schedules, materials and printing
Have a working knowledge of all the fundamentals of the software, 3 CPD Sacap credit (Cat 1)
This is not your average software course. By the end of these three days, you won’t just be clicking buttons — you’ll have actually designed and finished a complete tiny house inside Revit. That means: a proper floor plan with measurements, clear drawings of the front and side of your house (elevations), a door and window list (schedule), and even a 3D view that looks like the real thing.
We’ve built this course so that you walk away with something finished, a small house project that shows you can now use Revit in a real way. If you’ve ever felt nervous about starting Revit, don’t worry. We’ll guide you step by step, slowly, and keep it practical and hands-on.
👉 You must already have Autodesk Revit installed on your laptop before the course begins.
We cannot provide the software. It’s essential that you arrive with Revit ready to go, otherwise you won’t be able to complete the assignment.
