Mediation For Architects Masterclass

Sacap Accredited and Validated with SAIA EC for 1 CPD credit (Cat1)

COURSE CONTENT

This hands-on masterclass takes you inside a multi-party construction mediation and shows you, step by step, exactly what happens.

Using a realistic scenario from a real-life project, we walk through the eight stages of facilitative mediation, from preparation to follow-up, so you see exactly who does what, what to bring, and how to narrow the issues and build agreement.

We focus on the realities of construction disputes: the Principal Agent’s role under JBCC, PI insurer mandates, expert inputs and testing, and how settlements interact with your contracts.

A guest attorney-mediator joins to explain the importance of reality-testing and to explain how to turn “agreement in principle” into enforceable Heads of Agreement. You leave ready to participate effectively as a party or adviser, with practical checklists, scripts, and templates you can apply right away.
