This course is a real eye opener when you consider the thought and practicality that needs to go hand in hand when designing a facility of this nature. I realised that it helps to speak to key people who have worked, especially in the rural areas, as to just how valuable their input would be in both the urban and rural designs to have a succesful approach when dealing with maternity patients. It was an amazing workshop.
