This course introduces design professionals to the next step beyond AI stills: using AI tools to turn a single architectural image into a complete cinematic film.

Building on skills such as AI-generated renders, participants will learn a structured workflow that takes one image, a render, screenshot, or sketch, and develops it into a scripted, animated, narrated, and scored short film.

The course is designed to be highly practical and outcome-driven, culminating in a hands-on session where each participant develops a short cinematic sequence from one of their own project renders.

By the end of the course, delegates will have a clear understanding of how AI-driven filmmaking can be integrated into their existing visualization workflow to elevate client presentations, marketing, and project storytelling.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

– Explain how AI filmmaking extends a still render into a moving, narrated piece.

– Turn a single screenshot or render into a striking cinematic image.

– Generate a script and storyboard for an architectural sequence using AI.

– Direct alternative camera shots and compositions from one base scene.

– Create and place consistent AI-generated characters within interior and exterior scenes.

– Write and produce a voice-over that supports the story of the project.

– Animate characters, camera movement, and architectural shots with intent.

– Compose or source music and finalise sound for the piece.

– Edit and assemble the individual elements into one finished cinematic film.

– Independently produce a short cinematic sequence from an existing project render.

No prior AI or filmmaking experience is required. The course concludes with a capstone practical session where each participant takes one of their own existing render and develops it into a short cinematic piece using everything learned during the day.
