DRAKENSTEIN SENTRUM

Retail Development

Situated along the iconic Winelands Corridor which connects Paarl with Franschhoek, Drakenstein Sentrum is located on the corner of Wemmershoek and Lustigang Road and forms an important retail node for the surrounding developments of Boschenmeer Golf Estate and Val de Vie as well as future developments. Drakenstein Sentrum provides a great range of convenient neighbourhood retail options.

K waBhaca Mall is the second Eastern Cape development by rural retail owner and asset manager, Exemplar REITail. In partnership with AJ Property Holdings, the 18,829m2 double-level mall is the first of two developments in the region undertaken by Exemplar, with the other being Bizana Walk. MARINE WALK

Marine Walk Shopping Centre is located in KZN’s up and coming Sibaya precinct, promising residents of nearby areas a convenient and family centric retail space. Project lead, Devmco Group’s Brad Winstanley believes that convenience and connection are two of the most important factors for people looking to change and improve their lifestyles.

MERINO MALL

Retail Development

The opening of Merino Mall at the end of October 2022 marked the broadening of shopping, entertainment and gathering options – not only in Ermelo, but for communities within the large catchment area stretching as far as Pongola, Middelburg and Secunda. Located in the greater Gert Sibande District in Mpumalanga, the fully enclosed 28,600m2 shopping centre was built on the edge of an escarpment. Merino Mall has its own taxi rank, facilitating commuter travel to and from the mall.

PAARL MALL EXTENSION

Retail Development

Paarl Mall is a single level regional shopping centre set in the picturesque Drakenstein Valley. Opened in 2005, the original brief at that time was for a design that would complement the heritage of the Paarl area and, at the same time, promote the excitement and convenience of an urban lifestyle. Owned by Growthpoint and situated along the N1 motorway and adjacent to the KWV Winery, Paarl Mall is a gateway to the Paarl and Franschhoek wine routes. The design takes its cue from the architectural vernacular of the Paarl area.
